(jocelyne, Thanks. I keep telling myself, Im not going to spend as much Y2K search time. Oh, well. I operate by link synchronicity and intuitively asking guidance where I should flow to check things out. Seems to work for me, and leads 'n clues, for the most part, go faster).

Thanks for the link, Diane. A really well-done piece of radio reportage, and it even uses dc Talk's "Time is Ticking Away" as its theme. Yes!

My thanks to you, too, Kevin. You've contributed a great deal of very valuable info to this forum over the past few months!

One note, everyone:KTAR has only provided the first report as a RealAudio file, despite the list of reports they offer. All the links point to "http://www.datadr.com/y2kpunt1.ram".
Hmmmm... "y2k punt 1"? As in "When in trouble, punt!"? 8-}]
Still a good intro...

Thanks Mac! Will "e" the station later.Wish I "could" download RP Kevin. I have an older Mac which doesn't have a floating point something-er-other, so it won't run Real Player versions over 2.0.
Guess I remain audio challenged.
Got transcripts?
