Gartner report now says have 2 weeks of cash and 5 days of supplies.

Why would you need cash if you have 5 days of supplies? You won't be buying anything for a long time if there's disruptions. Even if the electricity was off 5 days, it would take at least that long to get stores restocked, maybe even longer. And if no one knows how severe the problem will be, how can anyone say how long to prepare for? I'm in for the long haul.

You can read mine HERE on Scott's site. Mine is September 1998, see if you can find it. Some things have changed since then, regarding propane storage, I have 2 100lb. cylinders and 4 20lb. ones instead of the original idea of using 1lb. cylinders. Also have scrapped the generator idea, too expensive for a diesel one and too difficult to store gasoline for one I could afford. Using propane lanterns and some candles for light.
