Contracting for RM Services & Systems Professional Associations for the RM Practitioner and Formation of a united Council which proposes to combine SACROC & ERMWG into the FIRM Council: FEDERAL INFORMATION & RECORDS MANAGERS COUNCIL

The SACROC Records Management Needs Workgroup has been gathering lists of resources to support Records Managers in their efforts to contract for records services and systems. We will sponsor a panel discussion to share what we have learned and to distribute the resource manual we have compiled (manuals copied compliments of an education grant from NAGARA, the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators).

Contractor's Wish List for Agency Contracting Officers RM Functional Requirements List - Possible Contract Tasks Draft Scopes of Work for RM Contracts RM Contract Vehicles Available to Buy Into FAR Regulations & RM Laws and Regulations RM Position Descriptions & RM Interns Professional Organizations for Federal Records Managers

Speakers representing a number of professional organizations have been invited to address our assembly:

Robert Nawrocki, CRM, Immediate Past President of the Association of Records Managers & Administrators (ARMA)

Al Linden, Association of Information and Image Management (AIIM)

Jeanne Young, Records Officer, National Association of Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA) will be on hand to share association information and to address the importance of professional associations to records and information management careers.
