Japan's Financial Supervisory Agency :

The FSA said that as of December, nearly half of the top 19 Japanese banks had completed needed updates for just a quarter of their main computer systems. Only two banks had updated more than 75% of their systems. . . .

=================

You want to mince words? Go right ahead. Half the top Japanese banks have not even done 25% of the job.

If you are such an ASS as to believe they can get the other 75% done in less than 200 working days, then be my guest.

The Japanese banks WILL, categorically, collapse, taking everyone else with them.

Paul Milne If you live within five miles of a 7-11, you're toast.

He's right, you know. Guaranteed global economic collapse.

How will the Financial Supervisory Agency punish the banks any more severely than with their collapse upon the roll-over? What can they possibly do that is more intimidating or that will make them want to press harder? That is, IF they GI.

they'll just have to close their doors until they fix it

they shouldn't be lending money out anyway

they're already toast as they're technically bankrupt
