Hi,Thanks for your questions.
1) 5 days is certainly enough to see a good amount of Hong Kong. Consider: - Victoria Peak. - sitting on the harbour in Kowloon and looking at the skyscrapers on HK Island. - Lots of journeys backwards and forwards on the Star Ferry (less than half a US dollar a journey, from memory - fantastic!). - Perhaps a visit to Ocean Park, and/or neighbouring Water World if you have your swimming trunks with you. - 'window shopping'. Perhaps in Admiralty or Sha Tin to get out of the tourist areas a bit. - Lots of other things I can't think of at the moment (see the photos for ideas).
Buy a Lonely Planet guide for brilliant info.
2) May - check when the Typhoon season is. I was there in July (very hot) to September ("only" high 20's degrees C).
3) Transport - easy.
Have fun (I did)
