Fuji MX-600 or Toshiba PDR-M3 ???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I am in the process of purchasing a new digital camera and trying to decide between the Fuji MX-600 and Toshiba PDR-M3. Since the appearance, functionality and cost are similar I am wondering if they are the same camera. Are there any difference between these two models? Which would be recommended?

it's the same thing, buy on price.

Actually, someone posted on rec.photo.digital that the Toshiba uses AA's while the Fuji uses a LiIon battery like the MX-700.

I purchased the Toshiba PDR-M3 two weeks ago and I am very happy with my decision. My camera uses a lithium-ion battery. The camera also came with the battery charger as well. The pictures are excellent. As with any picture taking you win some and you lose some. When conditions and lighting are right, the chances for a great photo is at your fingertips.
