Is it my imagination, or does it take longer to get supplies shipped to you these days?

It seems as if it takes MUCH longer to get the stuff we order (biomedical research supplies such as latex gloves, cfuge tubes, etc) these days. I wonder if it is coincidental or if, maybe, just maybe, the Joanne Effect is beginning to take its toll on businesses and the State. Then again, maybe I'm just being paranoid again.

If you are talking about disposible medical supplies, it is my understanding that much of the US supply comes from Central America, which was disrupted by Hurricane Mitch. I heard that lots of clinics are scrambling to come up with new supplies.

A taste of what is to come? But for now, it is not Y2K.
