I would consider buying from the US because prices are much cheaper - even after shipping & duty - and also you get the latest models well before us it seems. I like the Fuji MX-700 but in the UK the lowest price I've found is #390 (inc. power lead, rechargeable battery etc).

My main question is - how can I be sure I'm buying from legitimate source and the exact spec I want?

Any help from contributors from US would be great.
