You didn't read the article. He is planning to have a huge concert in New Zealand on New Years Eve, and the fly the whole show over to Hawaii within the next 15 or 20? hours to celebrate New Years Eve all over again! That is a tremendous financial risk (not to mention safety) considering they don't even know if they will have power or an airport to land at. Perhaps it will become an acoustic concert and everyone will end up stranded in New Zealand!
