Researching Relevant Professional Development Learning Task #2 by Bill Berning

A. Read about content area information that will inform your professional needs in a minimum of 3 professional journals and one other book or publication.

B. Develop a way to document and record the information you want to remember and have on hand for use in your professional context.

C. Design a way to display how this informaiton enhances your professional mission or long and short term goals.

The way I will organize my information that I will discover over the next few years will be orgranized by topic folders and note books.

I will use file folders to keep articles of various topics in my research. The files will be organized by specific topics. Some of the files would be: recordkeeping, computer recordkeeping, software, government programs, etc.

I will also keep a notebook to reocrd books that I read and if I find good information I can record the information, page number, author, title and publisher. I also will use the notebook to record information from interviews and people I talk to.

The broad area of informaiton I will keep will be finance and recordkeeping of farms. I hope after a while I will be able to narrow this down to a more specific topic.
