Hmmm... this doesn't work for me, partly because of the lack of detail in the snow and also because it seems to want more contrast. Cropping in to eliminate most of the snow seems to help the composition a little, but that won't make this image gallery quality.

You've got the right idea, now it needs to be refined.

Garry: This is a well-exposed image. the detail in snow seems to be exactly right. The color of the tree has a nice feel to it. Having said that, the artistic aspect of the image falls a little short. Good luck. Bahman

The lighting on the birch tree is too flat. If this subject had better light and was substituted into your post in photo critique "Naked Bush", you would have a winner.
