i have been thinking about submitting soem of my work to publications, but im not sure how to begin, anyone have suggestions? i would appreciate any response. thanks and good life

i'm actually having the same problem. i've just returned from new york where i submitted my poetry to 40 little magazines. i found over 200 addresses of small literary magazines over the country. anyway, i've moved back to england for a while and want to try my luck here. i though that i would be able to find a list of small publishers and work my way up, but it doesn't seem to be as easy as that, i can't even find a list or even discover if it exists. all i know is an unpublished poet needs to begin at the bottom, i just wish i knew the address of the bottom!!! let me know if you discover anything!
