Which digital camera or cameras are best for sport action shots, both in daylight and at night, possibly using no flash. Points of importance would be fast shutter lag (short delay before the shutter actually fires), cycle time between shots, and day and night shots without blurriness. Almost no point and shoot is useful for sports. You are pretty much limited to the high end slr's. I am a fan of the Nikon E3, although journalists tend not to use it because of its smaller file size. its a great system though. I have used all the others, and their functionality is similar. The new D1 looks like its going to drop the bottom out of the high end market though. It does everything the high end slr's do, and costs 2/3 less.
