Yahoo Not Y2K Compliant

I have an e-commerce store on Yahoo Store Server and wrote Yahoo to see if they are Y2K ready. Here is the response I received this week (3-11-1999).

"Thanks for your email to Yahoo! Store Support. Yahoo! Store does not currently have an official statement regarding the Y2K situation. As always, we strive to give our merchants the best in service and maintenance, as specified in the Terms of Service document. Please let us know if you have further questions. ------- Regards, Yahoo! Store Support http://store.yahoo.com

Out of curiosity, how did "no official statement" become "not y2k compliant"?

Try this -

"I am not satisfied with your reply dated ....I will withdraw my business from your process if this matter is not cleared up in 10 days from posting of this reply.

You may begin by answering the original question: Is Yahoo Store Server Y2K compliant in all regards, assuming the user still has internet access and a working computer to the net? Second, is your businees support and management software fully Y2K compliant, and if not, what is your specific remediation and testin gschedule?"
