Andy how's it going? I have been painting my house, so all free time has been used up for that job. I should be done soon and then I will place it on the market. Plan A is to move to Colorado, (western slope) and further my education if everything is y2ok. Plan B is to move up to the property my family and I own and deal with y2k. My parents and sister are taking y2k very seriously and have food and water for over a year so the prep work is pretty much done. You take care and keep posting I enjoy your threads. Tman

Hi Andy.

Where I work, I can read this forum whenever I have time, but I am prohibited (by the system) from posting anything. It gets really frustrating sometimes, because the half-life of many of these threads is only a few hours. If I read something interesting in the morning, it's become obsolete by the time I get home at night and can respond.

The upside of this (if there is one) is that this gives me a chance to stop and think about what I'm saying, and compose a decent reply rather than firing off an emotional ad hominum one-liner. Replies like that might make me feel better for a few minutes, but they certainly don't contribute to discussion or help anyone else.

I post from home, but do more week-evenings because I tend to be slightly less busy then. Family's home on weekend, and we're usually trying to run several different directions at once.

I post from home and work. I spend way too much time online!

Ya know, ya can't beat a good old-fashoned emotional one liner ad hominem, never hurt George Carlin :)

Tman, thanks, and welcome to Colorado, gets a little nippy but it's a great place to live. If all else fails you can camp out at DIA :)

My home is my work, fully equiped office and everything...you can't get rid of me! MUHAHAHAHA! ;-)

And like Tricia, weekends are hectic here, ya know, Y2K preps, kids, in-laws and all.

Hey Tman...Western slope of Colorado is a good destination. I came over here from Denver for a party in 1971 and stayed. Some great rural areas and an amazing number of folks who GI. Won't be a bad place to be if all hell breaks loose in the cities.

Big pipes. Gotta love 'em, even though they don't help much when Ed's site gets really busy ;-)
