Sooner or later I'll figger out the formatting with this.

I guess y'all feel good about driving off someone who disagrees with you? I did not agree with Vinnie on everything, but he sure had you pegged Sysman for the self-important, smug, rigid thinker that you are.

-- Y2K Pro (no@y2krackpot.com), March 13, 1999.

Y2Kpro - All opinions and view points are welcome here. What is yours? All I seem to see from you are wise-cracks and put-downs. Do you have anything valuable to contribute here? <:)=

-- Sysman (y2kboard@yahoo.com), March 13, 1999.

Yea. Pointing out that your a self-important, smug, rigid thinker who can't stand other opinions.

Never argue with a pig. You'll both get dirty and the pig will love it.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

-- Dilbert (got@it.gov), March 13, 1999.

Good old Dilbert. He just reminded me in another thread that I had indeed forgotten my own advice. So, this one is for you Y2K Pro...

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Sysman, judging by your level of discourse on this and other threads, I think Y2K pro may have a point. Relax, it's not always essential to have the last word, and who knows, you could be wrong.

-- Flanagan (drluv73@hotmail.com), March 14, 1999.

Hi Flanagan. You're right, I could be wrong, and I really hope I am. Why do you think Vinnie and Y2KPro are such a minority here? We have such a vast collection of people here with real-world experience, many of them very bright. Not just programmers, people from all walks of life. We sure could use some balance here. Why can't we find any? I encourage all, not just the DGI, to go out and find that "good news" and bring it to us here. We don't need wise-cracks, put-downs and name-calling. We need verifyable facts. <:)=

PS - In fact I think I'll start a new thread on this.
