After having lots of freezes I bought Tech Tools and Virex and repeated ran them. Also reinstalled OS 8 on my performa. Now I cannot connect to my HP 6MP printer under chooser because it says cannot connect appletalk. Says OTATalkClientLib not found. I searched for that item on my OTHER mac, an imac, and did not find it. Help.

I think you have to make a backup of your Harddrive and format it after that. Formatting a harddrive is always a good thing to kill all errors. After that, you shouldn't print over Appletalk; turn Appletalk off! The printer works without Apppletalk over the printerport fine.
