Today we received the 2nd y2k article from our power company. The first one was in Oct 98 when they said they were compliant. This one says that "we have a plan that we are following that will help ensure that all of our systems are ready, and we have already achieved many of the goals within that plan" Hmmmmmm! Since they are a non producer of power I went to the company where they buy their power. Their report is all graphs and all systems are at the very same level with no deviation. IOW, 100% investigated, 98% remediation and 95% "ready". At the end they have a glossary that gives the definition of readyness as "suitable for continued use into the year 2000". Whew!!!!!.... Can't tell you how relieved I am to know that we are "suitable". Sure would like to have a couple of GOOD AND MEATY AND POKE 'EM WITH A SHARP STICK questions to thow at them. How about some help from someone with more gray matter than I have.
