I have seen the parallel interface SmartMedia memory card readers. Do they have the SCSI interface SmartMedia memory card readers, OR is there an adapter to use the memory card directly in the 3.5" drive?

Yes it exists, one model called Camedia Floppy Disk Adapter for Smart Media. This particular one is made by Olympus and can be had through mailorder, as well as through certain camera stores. What you need is the necessary software that goes with it. It so happens, that I have an Oly D400Z, which brings this floppy adapter as standard equipment. It works w
