Beautiful animal and nice exposure. The composition looks a bit cramped up top to me; would be nice to give the tiger a little bit more room, perhaps shift the whole frame up.

Excellent pose and sharp detail on the beautiful tiger. The foreground works very well for me. Agree about the need for a bit more room up top. Good shot!

I'll echo the comments about cropping. I'd give the tiger a little more space on top and on the right side of the frame, but still crop out the extra bit of wood on the far right (as you did).

Oops, I must have been thinking about the tiger's right. I meant the piece of wood sticking out on the far left of the original uncropped frame.

Thanks for the comments so far.I thought the cropping may have been a tad tight but wasn't sure. The feedback does wonders for the learning curve.

Is it just me or is this shot slightly condensed horizontally? Looks like maybe 95% of the actual width or something... might just be me.

Collin, there was no horizontal compression but I am using Microsoft photo editor to resize the image so maybe that might have something to do with it.

The way the Tiger is looking makes the viewer look out of the image rather than into it.
