Good eyes Cleeo, but I would have done it a little differently. I don't know if it would have been possible from your location, but I think the image would be stronger if the outstretched "neck and head" were fully isolated in the sky, rather than dropping in front of the mountains in the background.

I might also be tempted to crop almost the entire lower half of the image, where the near rock reaches a point. This creates 2 parallel diagonals and my eye seems to rest on the rock head. This can easily be done by simply scrolling the page a little.

A bit of fill flash or shooting during softer light would help decrease the contrast here too. Do you have any other shots of this subject?

What no fiery breath? Well, how about a strategically placed sunrise or sunset? Very interesting subject!
