EEI - Invitation to join mail list

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Electric Utilities and Y2K : One Thread

I received the following email today - it's an invitation from Edison Electric Institute to join their Y2k mail list. You may also want to subscribe. If so, just follow the directions at the end of the note. My guess is that this is a "one way" list server (ie. no feedback from participants), so keep that in mind. Here's the details:

Welcome, I have been in contact with many
of you over the last year or so concerning
Electric Utility Y2K issues. In light of
the ever increasing interest and importance
concerning the Y2K readiness of the electric
utility industry, I have created a public
Y2K mailing list and added your name to the list.

The purpose of this list is to alert you to high quality, factual information and events concerning the electric utility industry as it pertains to the Year 2000 issue. Please feel free to pass this message on to others so they may subscribe.

Please note that you are already on the mailing list. If you would like to get off the list please follow the unsubscribe instructions below.

**TO UNSUBSCRIBE (deleting your name from the list):

Address an e-mail message to the Internet address:

unsubscribe-y2kpublic@ls.eei.org

There is no need to enter anything in the subject line or body of the message.

**TO SUBSCRIBE (to be added to list) Address an e-mail message to the Internet address:

subscribe-y2kpublic@ls.eei.org

There is no need to enter anything in the subject line or body of the message.

END OF MESSAGE
