I can't read Hebrew, but I have heard of the Bible code. This is possible, but I can not tell IF this is the real thing.

The only trouble with the "Bible Code" business is that it never tells you anything you didn't know already. So it may be a puzzle, it may be interesting, it may be non-ordinary, but it isn't one bit of practical help.

There are other "Readable" lines in Ezekiel VI , starting at verse six. " In all your dwelling places, the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; That your alters shall be laid waste and made desolate, AND YOUR IDOLS may be broken AND CEASE, and your images may be cut down, and your works abloished". let me point out two things here ... Any idol that I have ever heard of was a carved/molten image . IT WAS INANIMATE !!! DID NOT MOVE !! Therefore, how could it CEASE; i.e. NOT MOVE ( again ) ?? Most young mens ( and many older ones too ) idol is there car(s) which will move, UNTILL the EMP from an atomic bomb stops it dead in it's tracks; embedded chips pict it up and FRY ( as well as TV , radio and the internet ) . Of course, many will be " broken " if close enough to the blast. But, check out verse 14 !!! " They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; BUT NONE GOETH TO THE BATTLE; for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof ." How can everyone be suddenly deaf ?? If you expect the radio or TV to warn you of the incoming missles, they won't because of EMP ( Electro Magnetic Pulse ) from just one sub launched 1 megaton atomic bomb exploded at about 30,000 feet over the exact center of the US. This info has been known to all since 1968. In earlier threads, I mentioned the same thing , BUT, as the subject was not religous, I refrained from introducing it. Then, check out verse 17. " ALL hands shall be feeble, and ALL knees shall be as weak as water." Ever lost your food (diahrea), been unable to eat for even a couple of days and be dehydrated from retching up anything you swallow ?? Radiation poisoing brings this on in the second week ( your last ). Verse 18. Then shall they gird themselves with sack cloth and HORROR shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces AND BALDNESS upon ALL their heads." How can little children be bald ?? WHAT are they horrified of ? They see each other dying,; no way to stop it AND , they may have fireball/radiation burns , with nonstop bleeding gums, PLUS, everyones hair is falling out ( ANOTHER symptom of an overdose of RADIATION from a nuclear war they had no warning of , as shown in verse 14 . Verse 23 " Make a chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes and the city full of pestulence." DISEASE. Need I say MORE ????? Eagle.... in the nest !!

The Bible Code is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You can get the same "secret messages" from a telephone book, Gone With the Wind, or transcripts of Wall Street Week.

Before you attack trhe authenticity of the Bible code you should do the following (1) Learn Hebrew (2) Learn statistical science, (3) obtain the Bible search software use to find Bible codes (4) run searches for ELSs (equidistant letter sequences) on the Hebrew Bible, and on other books such as telephone directories and novels, examine the results for variation from the coincidental (5) publish your results in a verifiable manner.

Unless you have done these things, it is merely suppositiuon to reject the Bible codes.
