First of its Kind Colloidal Silver Reportgreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread
I have prepared a report that provides hard data showing what happens when you ingest colloidal silver. Areas investigated include where colloidal silver goes in your body, how fast it is eliminated, and a novel idea about how to increase the elimination rate by 3 fold.
Anyone interested in more information please contact me.

Hey Dr. A, what does this ahve to do with y2k?
-- Curious (firstname.lastname@example.org), March 04, 1999.
It's been reported through countless independent studies that colloidal silver attacts almost every type of pathogen. Last time I checked the pharmaceutical companies which produce the antibiotics we all rely on were not Y2k compliant. So you may not be able to count on these drugs after the year 2000. On the other hand, you can make colloidal silver at home with a silver coin immersed in distilled water that is wired to a few 9 volt batteries.
So if you think that Y2k may impact medicine, it may not be a bad idea to learn as much as you can about colloidal silver.
-- Roger Altman (RogAltman@AOL.com), March 04, 1999.
If it's pertinent to our health, and if it's dangerous or good for you, why not post it on the internet for everyone to read? Or, are your trying to sell us something? I give my opinion and knowledge of things for free.

The medical profession has a long history of hostility toward therapeutic modes not based on the accepted medical paradigm. See Ivan Illich, Medical Nemesis: The Expropriation of Health. (New York, Pantheon Books 1976.) I once read that when the bathtub was invented the AMA opposed its use on the grounds that it was hazardous to health.

I don't know about benefits/risk of colloidal silver, but you might note that silver is used in many of the "pour-through" water filters to reduce bacteria counts. So, even though it may or may not be good to ingest it, it does have its uses.

Colloidal silver is wonderful. Numerous times when I have had that "OOh, I ache all over. I know I'm going to be sick for a week" feeling I have taken 1/2 tsp. and in about a half hour I am absolutely symptom free. I have read an entire book about it. Before antibiotics became the rage, it was used for all the things they are used for, and more. (But more $ to be made with antibiotics.) It kills viruses, too. Seems to interefere with the respiratory process of bacteria, molds, viruses, etc. Anyway, it is absolutely for real and I wouldn't be without it. There are, of course, different qualities of it depending on how it is made. A true colloid has particles so small that they will never settle out. If the particles are too large and you take a lot of it over a long period of time you may begin to look a little gray. (Like old Kodak workers who got silver in their systems.) Still wouldn't hurt you, though. If you want to know if something works, don't read about it, try it!

THE ABOVE IS A FONY EMAIL ADDRESS --- SORRY TO DO IT -- HADN'T DONE THAT POSTING MORE THAN 150 ARTICLES ON THE NET OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS OR SO --- HOWEVER I'M WAY TOO BUSY WITH Y2K PREPS TO ANSWER EMAIL -- AND I'M AN EMAIL "ADDICT." SORRY AGAIN, BILL..
Roger Altman suggested I post this article that I placed earlier in another forum (y2k.entrewave.com in the thread "Dr. Schenker Speaks.") I will also post a short followup article on an FDA action re C.S.
I'm real sorry for posting a fake email addr --- I never did that in 2 1/2 years of posting and over 150 articles. However I'm too busy to answer email (I'm an email addict) bec of my y2k preps.
I hope this info helps some people with their health care if the Establishment goes down.
POST-Y2K COLLOIDAL SILVER?--IV
Hello everyone -- I'm back for a one-shot message -- haven't time for more -- way too busy with my personal Y2K preps. At the suggestion of several friends I am updating the colloidal silver discussion, particularly for the benefit of website newcomers, who missed out on the extensive threads we posted on during 1998.
First of all, I will do a cut/paste of probably the most important post of last year, called the 'March 23d Update.' This should bring newcomers up to speed -- it addresses a number of questions that seem to be asked over and over by newbies. Here it is:
3/23/98 C.S. Update
This was going to be the final report on the progress of our c.s. research, but it will have to be an interim report --- I'll be away fr my computer for the next svl weeks, so this will have to do for a while.
We've divided the research up into looking at LVDC gennies: anything from 27 volts to 180 volts DC --- and HVAC gennies: those from 10,000 to 15,000 volts AC. There's some fairly conclusive info that can be given out re the LVDC units at this time. The results on the HVAC units r still not clear enuf to make reco's at this time. Accordingly here's the picture on LVDC now.
U can successfully generate effective c.s. using any voltage DC, from 6 on up to whatever u want. Practically speaking, the upper limit is somewhere around 120. Why? Because that's what u can get by simply grabbing household current out of an ordinary wall socket and running it thru what's called a full-wave bridge. Then u connect the output of that bridge to yr silver wires dunked in supermarket bought distilled water, and away u go. This will produce relatively strong (maybe 10ppm) c.s. in about an hour's time. The downside to this setup is, unless u r VERY careful, and know yr way around electronic/electric circuits --- u can very easily end all yr post-y2k problems in 1 swell foop -- by electrocuting yourself. Besides which u won't have anything coming out of those wall sockets after 1/1/Oh!Oh!
At the other end of the possibilities u can use yr 3 little 9-volt batteries to give u 27volts. Trouble with that is u have to run yr genny for maybe 3 hours to get a decently strong c.s. output. But u say, "Mark Metcalf's device does it in 5 to 10 minutes, no probLEMo." Problem: Mark's instructions tell u to add svl drops of his diluted salt solution to get his system going --- and that puts out a product that measures only 3 1/2 ppm on a 6-minute run (See next paragraph for other problems.) Plus, it's got that sodium chloride in their also, which when mixed with silver gives you silver chloride. The effect of ingesting that is not really known at this time.
Another of Mark's reco's is, if u want to radically increase the concentration, just heat up the liquid before u turn on the current. Following that advice I routinely heated up my water to 150 degrees and based on Mark's statement, I figured I was producing 500PPM!!! Well, when measured with our meters, it turns out that all u get is the same concentration as when u run the batch at room temperature. So much for honest advertising.
Another aspect of Mark's genny is that when I ran it for 30 minutes hoping to get a higher conc. of c.s., I got the same as running it at 5 to 10 minutes.
So, is there any way we can improve on Mark's system, i.e., get a high concentration without contaminating the results using salt as a "starter?" Yes, there are several effective modifications and upgrades:
1) For the electrodes, instead of using a 6" wire use a 12" wire. (A good source for inexpensive #14 gage wire is: Freshmans, Inc., 801-521-6327.) Then bend the 12" wire on itself so that you have two parallel 6" wires with a closed loop at one end. Then bend that closed loop on itself 1" from its end. You then hang this over the lip of your glass jar, with the short 1" section on the outside. U connect your alligator clip to that loop. Then go thru the same procedure with another 12" wire. When u r finished u have 2 electrodes dunked into your distilled water, but each of those electrodes has double the surface area. That speeds up the generation of the c.s. To speed it up even further, bend each pair of wires so that they are fairly close to each other at the bottom ends, maybe 3/4" apart from each other. That further reduces the resistance to current flow and speeds up the process.
2) Now just forget about adding the salt solution --- throw it away.
3) Connect yr batteries to each of the 2 loops and u r on yr way. U will notice after maybe 1/2 to 1 hour that some cloudy stuff starts appearing around the positive electrode -- and black, Christmas-tree-branch-like stuff around the negative electrode. The cloudy stuff around the positive pole may start out whitish, but soon it'll be coming off a MUDDY color. Mark says that's a sign u've gone too long & u should start over. He's wrong again! Keep going, but every 5 to 20 minutes or so, using a plastic spoon , gently stir the liquid betw the two pairs of wires. What can start happening is u get a bridging of some of the silver produced that spans the two poles and short circuits your genny. That will quickly run your batteries down. So stirring the liquid breaks up those bridges.
4) Keep going for maybe a total of 2 hours. (U can go to 3 hours for a stronger c.s.) Your batteries won't last a year the way they will using Mark's original setup --- my guess is they'll last a month if u r making stuff once a week. Should u be making it that often? See later for a discussion of that issue.
5) When finished with yr run clean yr electrodes the way Mark says to, with the Skotchbrite..
6) Then either filter the liquid using coffeemaker filters, or else let the stuff stand overnite, & then "decant" off the top layer, carefully avoiding stirring up the precipitated "sludge" on the bottom. BTW, if u don't store it in an amber bottle, then store it inside a light tight box of some type (I use a cardboard packing box.)
7) What u will notice within a day is a distinct clear, golden color appearing. If u wait another day, the golden color will probably intensify further. Then u can dispense it to whomever in yr family needs it. How long will it last? We think for months, but don't know for sure yet.
8) When should u use the stuff, how much at a time, and for how often? There are many different opinions on this. Here's what I've decided to do:
a) I don't take it UNTIL I HAVE A SPECIFIC COMPLAINT, OR THERE IS AN EPIDEMIC GOING ON AROUND ME. Why? Because there is some evidence that the COLLOIDAL SILVER CAN ACCUMULATE IN YOUR TISSUES, ESPECIALLY IF YOU TAKE TOO HIGH A CONCENTRATION FOR TOO LONG A TIME. What is too high and what is too long? We don't know yet.
Now if this accumulation does in fact happen, is it bad, or at least, is it all bad? We don't know. So lacking certain knowledge I'm operating on the assumption that I will restrict my intake to a relatively high concentration (say, 10ppm on up to 15 or 20ppm, depending on what kind of electrodes I use, and for how long I "cook" the water), for a relatively short period of time (i.e., until my symptoms clear up) when I am confronted with an actual infectious condition that I think warrants treatment. This includes things like skin infections (boils, etc.), styes, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, infectious diarrhea, bronchitis, tonsillitis, or ear infections, as examples. Will I use it for a viral URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), commonly known as "a cold?" Well, I haven't had much luck with them & c.s., but my wife & others have had good results with colds. Will I use it for obvious Asian Flu? No, doesn't seem to have a good track record for that.
What dosage will I use? I will take an ounce or so, every other day, until better. Why not every day? Because there is evidence that the c.s. dose remains active at a high level for at least several days in between doses.
Can anything REALLY BAD happen if I continue to take 10 to 20ppm every other day forever? We don't know. However, in bygone generations, when silver product was being sold that was manufactured in a faulty manner (e.g., mechanically grinding it up, or chemically producing it, or combining it with other chemicals) there were definitely documented cases of Argyria (Gums and skin turns --permanently -- blue.) and also damage to internal organs and peripheral nerve tissue. Will silver manufactured by our modern, electrolytic method as designed by Robert Beck, & modified by us also expose us to that danger? I'm hoping it will not. But I don't KNOW. So I choose not to take that chance. Therefore, I am not one of those people who will take a swig of c.s. every day for the rest of my life "just to keep my immune system in good shape."
Are there ANY situations where I will take c.s. prophylactically, i.e., before I get sick? Yes, if there's an epidemic of any kind going around (including Asian Flu --- even tho it doesn't seem to help once u come down with it, it might prevent it taking hold if u start ahead of time.)
There are some cases recorded in the past where people have accidentally ingested highly toxic (super large) doses of silver (industrial accidents, etc.) Upon recovering some of them report that ever since, they no longer come down with colds or other common infectious diseases. Has the silver stored itself permanently somewhere in these peoples' bodies? That's a reasonable assumption, isn't it? I wouldn't go out of my way to try that one on purpose -- in case any of u r thinking along those lines. It certainly gives credence to the opinion that silver tends to accumulate, and is not rapidly excreted by the body. The jury is still out on this one, but until it returns a verdict, again, I say, I will not be taking c.s. on a routine, prophylactic basis.
Finally, are there any other strategies we can use to jack up the concentration and/or reduce the generation time, or avoid reliance on 9-volt batteries (which will go the way of the Dodo bird comes y2k?) Well there are if u want to go the trouble, as I have:
1) Buy a stainless steel pitcher (in one of those gourmet kitchen shops.) Doesn't matter what thickness of s.s. stock it's made of. I bought a 12oz size. I think u can also get them in 16oz size. I use it for my NEGATIVE electrode (attaching the alligator clip from the BLACK battery wire to the handle of the pitcher.) If u get mixed up, and use the pitcher as your positive electrode, you will be producing a POISONOUS colloid, from the ingredients of the stainless steel --- BEWARE!!!
2) Next I use for the POSITIVE electrode a one troy oz silver bar (buy them in a good coin shop.) They measure about 1" x 2" x 1/16" thick. Now u'll have to figure out a way to suspend that bar in the middle of the pitcher. I used the top of a 2-liter Coke bottle --- sawed it off about 5" from the top, & ran a heavy copper wire with attached alligator clip down the middle of the bottle cap, & then held it in place with heavy packing tape. Make sure u adjust the height of the alligator clip so that the clip DOES NOT TOUCH THE SURFACE OF THE WATER --- otherwise u'll be producing colloids of the clip's shiny coating --- if that happens to contain cadmium -- it's a highly toxic POISON.
I think a better way to suspend the clip attached to the silver bar is to get some 1/16" or thereabouts thick clear plastic sheet & cut a disk maybe 5 inches in diameter out of it. Then drill a hole thru the center that's just wide enuf to hold the alligator clip at the right distance from the water. U want to use clear plastic stock so u can see what's going on inside the liquid --- watching for the muddy cloud developing, and using yr plastic spoon to break up any bridges building. I set the positive electrode up so that about 1/4" of the silver bar is protruding above the water's surface.
3) Finally u can make 1 more modification to yr c.s. genny. This will be essential after the power grid goes down post-y2k. Buy 2 small PV (Photovoltaic) panels, with a 12volt DC output when running at least 50Ma current. I've found the best buy for that is from Damark, 1-800-827-6767. This is their Preferred Buyers' Club number. (If u join u get 10% off on everything.) I don't know what their regular 800 # is. The item u want is #B-20391-518997, the 1.8 watt PV panel. They cost $30 a piece. Hook the 2 up in series (pos to neg) and u will have 24v output in bright sunshine with enuf current to drive yr genny just fine. Just make sure to let no shadow fall on any part of either panel while it is being used --- otherwise u can burn the panel out.
A nice thing about these panels is that when u r not generating c.s., which won't be very often anyway, u've got panels which u can use to charge up all kinds of rechargeable nicads (or better yet, Nickel Metal Hydrides.) If u don't have plenty of those small batteries around post-y2k u'd better get used to a strictly pre-1850 living style.
Well, this is the March update. When I get back "on the air," sometime mid-April, hope to have some news to report on the HVAC scene. My computer will be down until then. If there are questions in the interim, maybe Kent Trembly can answer them.
2 comments to make on the above cut/paste:
1) Nickel Metal Hydride batteries are NOT the way to go post-y2k bec their shelf life between charges is ridiculously low; use regular nicads.
2) Do not use anything but DISTILLED water for your gennies. How will you get that post-y2k? Why boil any kind of water in a pot on your woodstove & set up a simple distiller/condenser coil to collect your pure water at the other end. How to do this? Do a search on the net -- there are several plans for homebrew water (and other liquids) distillers. [You will also need this distilled water if you will be using lead-acid or wet Nicad batteries in your solar power system -- you need the distilled water to top off the cells as they dehydrate from repeated charging.] Another way to go for dist. water is to build a solar distiller -- again there are plans for that -- search the Net [Home Power magazine back issues have such plans, but there are other sources.]
Finally, I'd like to make some further comments that will be of help to newcomers trying to make sense out of all the claims and counterclaims re C.S. use in post-Y2K (assuming there will be no traditional medical facilities available.)
Let's first of all talk about the negative opinions expressed re C.S., particularly in this forum and in Ed Yourdon's forum. I find it convenient to separate them into 5 categories:
I. "I REALLY HATE HER -- AND I'LL THINK OF A REASON LATER!" This is the refrain in one of my most favorite current Country Western hit songs. It also aptly describes certain critics of using C.S. for mild to moderate infectious illnesses. These people don't come up with any sort of rational criticism of C.S. use let alone personal experience or that of friends. They simply use that Constitutional, God-given right to flame whatever suits them, even on a non-experiential basis. To their credit they don't try to summon up a seemingly rational explanation for why they're 'agin' it. That makes them an order of magnitude more honest than the next category.
II. "ALL YOU ARE PRESENTING IS ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE IN FAVOR OF CS, AND TO SUPPORT MY DISBELIEF IN ITS EFFECTIVENESS -- HERE'S my ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE TO PROVE I'M RIGHT." This kind usually describes a one-shot dose of C.S. for a particular set of symptoms, record that it didn't help, and then conclude that C.S. is generally worthless.
III. "IF YOU TAKE C.S. YOU WILL END UP LIKE THE 'BLUE LADY' -- YOU CAN READ ABOUT IT ON HER WEBSITE." The flaw in this approach is a little more reasonable -- it is the following oversight: the Blue Lady, a hapless victim of Argyria, where the skin turns permanently blue, had used A DIFFERENT FORM OF SILVER -- IT WAS NOT COLLOIDAL SILVER. No where in her report does she document that she was prescribed C.S. --- as a matter of fact, the (electrically produced) colloidal form was almost certainly not even available for prescription during the period she describes. As a further matter of fact, it appears that NONE of the other cases of Argyria recorded in the medical annals involved the use of the colloidal form of the metal.
IV. "YOU NEED TO KNOW NOTHING MORE ABOUT C.S. THAN TO KNOW THAT THE FDA AND THE REST OF THE TRADITIONAL MEDICINE ESTABLISHMENT HAVE OFFICIALLY PRONOUNCED THE RECEIVED WISDOM: 'C.S. IS DANGEROUS AND FURTHERMORE WORTHLESS.'" What a metaphor for the Stone Wall of Y2K Denial we see around us -- in view of how all of us may well suffer painful consequences of too late a start in the y2k remediation process. Consider that this is in large part so because our Federal government and almost all its various agencies stonewalled the y2k remediation effort all through 1996 and 1997 when, instead they could have gotten the show on the road. What I have a hard time understanding is how some of our friends on the the y2k forums -- who fully understand the hazards of trusting our government leaders and our corporate leaders in the y2k area -- so readily bend the knee to the healthcare industry leadership, who are generally classic examples of "It wasn't invented here" thinking.
V. "THE RESEARCH HAS BEEN DONE; AND IT ALL SUPPORTS CONCLUSIVELY THAT C.S. IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH." This class of criticism is a first cousin of the Blue Lady category: Unless you look at the research dates carefully you will accept the assumption that this work was done RECENTLY and that it was based on studying the COLLOIDAL form of silver. If you were an adult during the period in history these dates approximately include -- you would remember that you were driving a Ford Model T and later, maybe, a Ford Edsel. (For you youngsters that would put things back in the 1st half of this century & at the latest maybe into the '60s.)
*********************** Now please get this: NO ONE IN THE LAST TWO DECADES OR MORE HAS DONE ANY RESEARCH ON ELECTRICALLY PRODUCED COLLOIDAL SILVER THAT MAY BE CALLED, SPECIFICALLY: "QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS." THE LATTER MEASURES CHEMICAL REACTIONS BY MEASURING INPUTS AND OUTPUTS ACCURATELY, DOWN TO FRACTIONS OF A MILLIGRAM (ITSELF ONE THOUSANTH OF A GRAM.)
'QUANT'' IS A SPECIFIC BRANCH OF ANALYTIC CHEMISTRY THAT ALL OF US PHYSICAL SCIENCE MAJORS HAD TO TAKE IN COLLEGE TO GET OUR VARIOUS DEGREES. (DO THEY STILL TEACH THAT STUFF IN SCHOOL ANYMORE? -- OR HAS IT BEEN UPSTAGED AND CROWDED OUT BY 'REQUIRED' COURSES SUCH AS "HOW TO PROGRAM YOUR VCR"?)
AND NOW FOR SOME POSITIVE STUFF:
Now that I've vented my sarcasm let me re-state it: NO ONE, not our FDA, not the AMA, not our multi-national pharmaceutical cartels has done the simple basic research to find out if colloidal silver does or does not accumulate in the body (thus eventually causing Argyria.) THAT, folks is the significance of Roger Altman's recent set of experiments -- he has taken the first step in that kind of investigation. He has spent his own money, his own time, and collected his own poop and urine, & fingernails, and body hair, and taken the time to send many, many samples to a commercial lab for analysis, at $15 to $18 a pop (poop?)
Now if you are one of those who is already convinced that C.S. has no value, or is too dangerous to use -- then DON'T spend the money to partially reimburse Roger for the money he has already spent.
Also, if you are one of those who is already convinced that C.S. HAS value, and is NOT dangerous to use (including prophylactically, and maybe on a daily basis) then you too don't need to spend the money.
However, if you respect science like I do, and have reservations about any product that you pour down your gullet, I have to recommend unconditionally that you spend the bucks and send for Roger's paper which describes his methodology and surprising results. If we had an honest FDA or pharmaceutical industry or a medical fraternity that did its own thinking --- they would all jump at the opportunity to piggygback on Roger's work. As it stands at the end of our millennium however, not one of these entities is going to explore the matter any further (even if the sensible ones WEREN'T spending beau coup bucks on their y2k remediation at this moment.)
Finally I'd like to do a cut/paste of an email exchange that Roger and I had this week, to give you more of an idea of what kind of person Roger is, and why it makes sense to support his efforts. The following is my latest email to him, with his comments inside the brackets.
My bottomline question: can your results be relied on to give us a good picture of the excretion curve?
[That's where my characterization work will come in] Personally I feel a lot more optimistic about the safety of C.S. after reading your work, but I can't claim to anybody that I'm sure of that. I will strongly recommend that those readers on the web who are SURE that C.S. is NOT safe, and those who are SURE that it IS safe don't need to bother with reading about experimental support re the safety issue. But for those of us who are obsessive-compulsive enough (such as I) nothing less than reading THE ONLY MODERN SCIENTIFIC TEST FOR SAFETY OF C.S., namely your experiments, is appropriate if you value the health of your family. My bottomline (sadly, to-be-unfulfilled) ambition re C.S. safety testing: to be able to participate in extended testing according to the outlines of your preliminary work --- but no time --- way behind on my y2k preps, the clock keeps ticking, and my Gloom & Doom predictions basically unchanged so far. I will somehow find the time to post a vigorous support of your work and its significance.
[Bill: I really don't want to see you go out on a limb. There is no good reason to read into my study more than I have reported. LET THE STUDY STAND OR FALL ON ITS OWN MERITS, and let people decide for themselves whether not to take CS. You know better that almost anyone how complicated it is to do a comprehensive study on efficacy and safety. My work is preliminary and barely a first step. But it IS a beginning, and should be judged in this light.]
Hopefully it will help some people better take care of their post-y2k health problems and at the same time help partially at least reimburse you for your time, troubles, and expense.
[You and I both know that writing research reports is not going to make me rich, or compensate me monetarily even for my out-of-pocket costs. But if enough people help (monetarily, or even through their own research and Internet discussion) I will continue this work beyond what I would have done alone, and in that way we can ALL benefit. And you must know by now I simply LOVE doing this type of thing -- I even developed a novel (by my standards anyway) way of sampling and preparing feces for analysis that isn't TOO repulsive]
So there you have it folks, maybe my last attempt at achieving Internet notoriety by entering the Colloidal Silver fray once again. However, a warning to those who want to engage in verbal sparring re C.S., I won't be around to read your stuff, or respond -- too busy preparing for Y2K. In that regard I am using a fake email address for the first time in over 2 1/2 year of posting. I intensely dislike doing that but I do it to protect my work schedule --- I'm such an Internet-aholic that I could easily be sucked into 'marrying' my keyboard again. I've got a temporary lull in my y2k logistics and am taking advantage of it.
P.S. I've got one more comment to make that I've held off for the last year or so. It concerns a person who posts on the y2k.entrewave.com site regularly. The regulars know who he is (only too well), but newcomers have been repeatedly steered wrong by his comments on C.S. (among other issues where he is just as offbase.) He has elected himself as this website's 'designated driver' when it comes to preserving OTHER people's righteousness. He has consistently lambasted people who post positive comments about their C.S. experience(s). I've never responded bec 1) it's been and still is my policy not to satisfy that type of person's desire to create and perpetuate dissension (as a way of life, it appears.) and 2) bec the regulars on our forum have always known to discount most everything he says on many other issues.
However, I feel the need to warn the newcomers about these barrages of negativity re C.S. --- learn to recognize who he is (Just go back to the older C.S. threads and read the posts -- you'll recognize him soon enough) and consider his motivation when trying to judge for yourself whether C.S. is or is not something you might want to have around for your family's health -- if the antibiotics and medical facilities disappear into the sunset as y2k does its thing to our infrastructure. B.
Here's the other post, on the FDA action.
"Greetings" fr yr friendly FDA
Here's a tidbit to underscore how Big Brother is looking out for your ability to care for your family's health absent the HealthCare Establishment post-y2k.
My friend Thomas Miller, a ham operator, an electrical engineer, a creative circuit designer, a leader in making available low-cost bio-medical kits and assembled units -- such as The Bio-Electrifier, the MPG [Magnetic Pulse Generator], ----- AND COLLOIDAL SILVER GENERATORS ---- has been told recently by Ron Parr, an FDA agent, in effect, to CEASE AND DESIST.
Detailed, it means he is not to sell the kits or units, OR GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO ANYBODY REGARDING BUILDING, TESTING, OR USING THESE DEVICES. I like that order regarding the prohibition on dispensing INFORMATION. I like it because it makes a perfect case for me of where the FDA is headed, or would like to. The destination is Mind Control reminiscent of the Communist nations or of Hitler's Germany.
I warned about this kind of action back last year in one of my posts -- I hope you took action in case you wanted to purchase a C.S. genny, a B-E, or a PMG from him. On the basis of the above news, if you want one of these devices now, it looks like you'll have to hoke up the circuits yourself. The only alternative I see is maybe Fred Walter, one of our forum stalwarts from Canada, whose had experience with these devices (apparently impressive results even with deadly infections), may be able to step in and provide the info -- if he's not too busy with his y2k preps -- and IF the Canadian gov't is more benign in its restrictions on what its citizens are allowed to THINK.
As far as me stepping into the gap -- sorry -- way too busy any more. Also, in the time betw now & 1/1/0h!Oh! I can't affort to tangle with no FDA thugs.
P.S. Can you buy ready-made CS gennies from any of the other sources on the Internet any more? Don't know, but a word to the wise should be sufficient. B.

Thank you for posting on this Forum, Dr. Schenker. There was a thread going about your medical site An MD Looks At Post Y2K Medicine. Helpful information!

Just looking over my post of yesterday -- noted my article didn't format the way I printed it -- my reference to a false email addr seemed to point to Shivani's, which was above mine. Please excuse -- haven't posted here since it first opened many ages ago -- forgot that the Site software has no option for preview or for editing.
