Camp Meeker's Y2K group will have it's third meeting at Anderson Hall on March 23. The subject is food preparation. In the meantime, the community assessment committee should have met to develop strategies to identify the resources in our community and the residents most likely to need assistance. Other committees are: community gardening, medical, alternative technologies, communications and purchasing. We are also planning to have little block parties in small neighborhood sections of this 750 person community. We are using our community newsletter to help distribute information. Our biggest problem is lack of space and sunshine for gardening. Our biggest assets are water and wood! I will be joining the presentation (with Bob Busha and Peter Rowell) for the first Occidental meeting March 16 at St. Phillips at 7 pm.
