Extension lensboards

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread

I have a Technica and would like to make or have made a 6 inch extension lensboard with the capability of changing lenses on the front. I want to use it with a 300 and 500/720 nikkor combination, thus the ability to mount the technica board on the front of the extension. I made one before using a soup can & it worked well, but would like to have something to give me the extension while at the same time allowing for lens changing & a more elegant and professional look. Does anyone know if one like this would run into problems with the hole in the normal lens mount and coverage with movement? Does anyone know if there is a company out there producing such an adapter already? While I am on it, does anyone know of anyone making a 5x7 back I can put on the 4x5 technica? Thanks in advance for your response.`

The solution is a Canham 5x7 MQC with the Canham "Technika to DLC/MQC adapter, and the 4x5 adapter back.
