I want to know if any one has had any experience taking still pictures using the new SONY PC-1 Digital video camera? I need to take some high quality pic's for a catalogue. It uses digital video tape to capture images and has a photo button specifically for stills. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Answers

Most Digital Video Cameras take an 640 X 480 resolution still photos. I have the Canon Optura, and the same applies to mine. I would not recommend Digital Video Camera for still photos, unless photo quality is not very impotant to you. I use a Sony FD81 for still images, and the Canon for video.
