March 9th, Lucchesi Community Center, Petaluma. Doors open at 6:00 PM for browsing preparedness resource area. Program starts at 6:30 PM.

Speakers and topics include: Peter Rowell, computer programmer and consultant:Y2K: The nature of the problem, possible effects of Y2K on food supplies, how Petalumans can be affected by international lack of Y2K compliancy, longer term economic threats; Don Coy, Petaluma Police, The Neighborhood Watch model (first in series of neighborhood organizing models); Carol Skandera, disaster preparedness expert, Food buying and storing strategies; Steve Dyer, builder and alternative energy activist, LowCost and simple alternative energy solutions
