Turkey Vulture

I took this with an N70 and tokina 400 f5.6 on Sensia 100 this fall in Vermont. The only problem(s) with the picture is that it isn't quite as sharp as I'd want it to be(handheld--not a fast enough shutter speed) and it has a nasty scrath on it. Does anyone know if there is a way to physically remove a scratch on a slide?

So what do you guys think? Any comments? Ted

I agree with your assessment - a little more sharpness so you could see some head detail would be nice. On the plus side, the way you got the reflective primaries lighting up the left wing is reallly nice. The slight clouds in the bottom half of the frame give the shot more balance than it would have against a clear blue sky. I would guess that this is a pretty impressive slide projected. Did you take this as a vertical, or crop it that way in Photoshop?

Actually, this is the complete image, not cropped. Ted
