Goog to know there is someone willing to educate people for little or no fees. Some of these speakers charges $10,000 per speaking engagement! (won't mention names except you all know these names). Many friends I know have a hard enough time to scrap in order to prepare for y2k.

The outline looks interesting with some I've not heard before. Too bad I just organized a y2k conference recently with a speaker which cost us $5,000 (at least it's not 10,000). Too bad we had to charge admission. He was okay, but a bit dull and covered much of the old stuff. But I will gladly refer Mr. Wong to anyone I know looking for a speaker.

Key phrase- In fact, he often does it free as a ministry.Free except for the "LOVE OFFERING" Also, its bound to be completely biased from a religios viewpoint filled with crap like its all gods judgement stupidity. There might be some good information if you can get past the hidden agenda. It sounds too much like Gary North weirdness.

Scoobydoo You sound like one of those anti-christian bigot! I'm not a christian nor a religious nut, but I happened to have attended his seminar last year end. He did not push any religious stuff, let alone "judgement" on us. Now some speaker may do that, but I didn't sense any agenda. He seemed sincerely concerned for Y2k's impact. We should all try to help people find solution and not get into mind-reading. Also, he did not take a "love offering". Just because you may not be willing to do that does not mean no one is willing to do that as a contribution.

If anybody needs an alternative, call me - I've got over 350 vacation hours that will be going to waste this year anyway if they're not spent on something - but I would need travel allowance and a projector. And a cup of coffee. And I can assure you that I can keep talking long enough to fill any schedule your meeting needs. In fact, some have implied I can talk longer than most schedules can fit, but we won't go there.

Wonder if Mr. Kwong's Y2k presentation is as good as his political forecasts (e.g., "PRESIDENT CLINTON WILL RESIGN BY END OF 1998 !!!")?

    -- No Spam Please (anon@ymous.com), March 02, 1999.

Anon If NBC, Wall St. Journal have done their job to report the Jane Doe # 5 story, the vote will surely be different! Are you proud of having a rapist in the white house. According to Capital Hill Report recent investigation, he has raped/ assaulted over 10 women! Who would have guessed the networks are so cowardly! But let's stick with Y2k and not get into politics here. You may not like some of Kwong's views, but on Y2K, he's with most of us. He's probably a 7 (1-10 spectrum). I happened to chech on his previous fortecasts, he has been right 80% of the time. How many analysts have that record?

    -- Jane (jany49@earthlink.net), March 04, 1999.

    Jane (jany49@earthlink.net),

    >If NBC, Wall St. Journal have done their job to report the Jane Doe # 5 story, the vote will surely be different!

Please note that I commented on Mr. Kwong's forecast, not the impeachment vote or trial.

    >Are you proud of having a rapist in the white house.

How did you make the leap from my comment about Mr. Kwong to questioning me about pride in having a rapist in the White House, Jane? This comment of yours has no place in this thread and no place being directed to me. Please re-read my previous posting; it addressed Mr. Kwong's (incorrect) forecast of Clinton's resignation, not the topic you're bringing up!

Then please retract this offensive question.

    >But let's stick with Y2k and not get into politics here.

That's a strange statement coming from someone whose preceding four sentences introduced politics into this thread. If you genuinely don't want to get into politics, don't slam someone else about politics then pretend that you don't want to.

    >You may not like some of Kwong's views,

Do you think I don't like some of Kwong's views? If so, where is your evidence? If not, why did you write this?

    >but on Y2K, he's with most of us. He's probably a 7 (1-10 spectrum).

What a coincidence! If you check what I've posted about my place on the 1-10 scales, you'll find the number 7 (along with the number 7.5) there, too. So why are you addressing me in such a hostile manner, Jane?
