I discovered something that surprised me a bit about the new version 200mm f/4. I had never seen this optical design in any other lens until I saw it used in the Leica 180mm Elmarit-R f/2.8. The two are virtually indentical except for the focal lengths and element surface radii. There is a good chance that someone is copying someone here. Not sure who that might be.
