Drew and Rob,

I'm very impressed with the list you've compiled. Excellent work! I'd be delighted to send a couple of complimentary copies of our TimeBomb 2000 book as a token of my appreciation; if you've already read the book, they might also serve such backup purposes as boat anchor, door stop, or additional supplies of TP. If you're interested, send your snail-mail address(es) to me via email at ed@yourdon.com

Thanks again, Ed

Drew & Rob,

I hereby officially bestow upon you 'The Info-War Medal of Honor' May you wear it proudly, and continue your fight to compile bits of truth in the dizzying array of mis-information.

Wow!

Y2K Link Glory!!

Kudos guys.

Drew: Just wanted you to know it looks great, and it was fun "working" with you. This really increases the chances of someone being able to use it the way I had hoped. :)

!! ? Either one of the clever droll imposterings or the TP thing has infected Ed too. Obviously, our identifier has now been sanctioned: FRLers will be known by the little rolled squares of TP duct-taped to their lapels ;-)

And to Drew & Rob, kudissimo, many encore link-posts to come for your list ;-)

Ed: Your response means more to me than I can put into words, and I am usually at no loss for words. Thank You for all you have done for me, without even knowing it - from my early days as a programmer with your technical books by my side, to the credibility that you have always had with me (and so many others) which really helped me to 'get it', and naturally, for this great forum too.

Deborah, Diane, Leska: Words fail. :)

Ed,

Thanks for your kind words; Rob deserves most of the compliments.

Re: your book. I would imagine your publisher will send me a copy or two of the updated version (if not, I'd like a few copies in response to your kind offer). Incidentally, I was the one who had you booked on the 700 Club last year (and Jennifer, too) :)

Will send you my snail mail address when I get back from the road (I don't want to deal with e-mail on the road; my mailbox is far too huge).
