Buycomp.com has really good prices on San Disk and Simple brands of Compact Flash cards:

$123 for a 48 MB Sandisk card $ 87 for a 32 MB Simple Card

I haven't seen better prices

My experience in the past has been that buycomp.com in general tended to have higher than average shipping charges, offsetting apparently lower listed prices.

How much do you think that Buycomp.com will charge to ship a compact flash card - certainly no more than $10 anywhere in the U.S. I haven't seen a 48 MB SanDisk card for under $130 anywhere else in the U.S. so they would still be the cheapest.

BTW, I have no axe to grind here, but I AM a satisfied customer. I have bought a DC260, a flash card, a printer, and numerous supplies there, in 3 separate orders. All arrived in less than a week, were shipped complete, and the prices were all outstanding. The camera went defective after a week due to corrupted firmware, and they exchanged it-no questions asked, and promptly. At no point did I ever order anything that cost more than $12 to ship (I do live in California, though) And every order I placed saved me over $100 or more vs. the local Fry's electronics.

So
