There was no mention of the senate report or anything concerning y2k in the local Democrat and Chronicle nor any other local news paper. Looks like the locals have made the decision to keep everyone in the dark. Here in UPSTATE the people operate in the modus that if it isn't in the Chronicle its not of importance.

I wonder...... Anyone else in western NY on here?

All of the newspapers that carried that story are Knight Ridder owned. It looks like they had an exlusive on the leak from the Senate staffer. I would expect your local papers to carry the story once the report is officially released.
