I know that there is some CMOS work being done on low-end professional cameras, but does anyone know about the high end of the non-professional cameras such as the recently announced Olympus and Nikon megapixel units?

Answers

So far, the high-end "prosumer" digicams are all CCD, rather than CMOS. At least at the amateur end of the spectrum, CMOS has thus far been of poorer image quality, more limited dynamic range, etc. It keeps getting better though, so maybe in another year or so...
