CP900 Timed Exposure???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I can't seem to figure out how to do a timed exposure with my new CP900. The guide doesn't mention it. Am I missing something or can it be done? Thanks...

Do you mean time-exposure (long exposure time) or self-timer (delayed exposure)? I don't think the CP900 can do the former, the latter should be relatively easy to find. (Too long since our review of the CP900, so don't recall the user interface well enough, but it should be on the top-panel pushbuttons.)

Thanks, Dave. Yes, time-exposure is what I want to do. And I've concluded the CP900 won't do it. I was just hoping someone had found a way of tricking the software in the camera the way so many people have been able to do with their computers for various functions. The delayed exposure is there like you say. I guess I may have to start looking at the CP950 sooner than planned. My wife'll never believe I didn't plan it this way...
