GENIOL, USA CLAIMING THAT BRITELYT HAS NO PARTS & WON'T DO REPAIRS? SHAME ON YOU, GENIOL!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

My.......My.......My. What the boys won't do.......And all because I wouldn't raise my prices. SHAME ON YOU, GENIOL USA.

For anyone who has contacted Mathew Prahasky at Geniol, USA, as I was so kindly informed tonight (and thank you for the info, by the way), and he has told you that BriteLyt doesn't make repairs or sell particular items, please ignore their little bit of,.... whatever you might want to call it.

Goodness........"Eddie" (also known as "George" to Matthew) founded GENIOL USA, for pities sake. Since the "partners" couldn't seem to see eye-to-eye (especially as far as pricing goes), then "Eddie" decided to sell his part of the company (to his partners, I might add), and help me, Diana, found "BriteLyt". THAT WAY....Eddie & I can offer prices that we believe are more affordable, and are working on getting items in, as soon as possible, that will be even MORE affordable for all the folks out there.

As far as repairs......GUESS WHO did all the repairs at GENIOL USA for over SIX years? You guessed it!! And......Eddie has over 30 years experience with these products.

As far as items......YES...WE DO!! Don't let the "other guys" make you believe that we don't have the products, or "can't get" them. GOODNESS!! Eddie & I work until the wee hours of the morning, talking to Germany, in order to obtain these products. If we're not speaking with them, then it's shippers, customs, etc.

We are working hard to provide these products to all of you, and we WILL keep our promise to keep these prices as low as possible. WHETHER THE "BIG BOYS" LIKE IT OR NOT!!

O.K.....Fellas......GROW UP, for pities sake. Remember America!! Land of the free....Home of the BRAVE!! I am one BRAVE LITTLE MAMA, so move over. I'm in town now, so get a grip.

Now.....I feel much better now, and thank you for the soap box. Feels good to scream, sometimes. Yeah....it does!

Thanks to all of you, again, for your support and your kind words.

KEEP SMILING!! I know I am........

By the way.......We have processed those orders dating from January 15, 1999 until January 31, 1999, and will be shipping those orders out shortly. UPS will be picking up those orders starting Monday, February 22, 1999.

All I can say is, I received my Petromax order yesterday from Diana, and everything was packed real neat and worked like a charm.

Diana I haven't smiled in 2 years, and I am not sure that a lot of people on this forum are doing a lot of laughing. So, damn it, please stop telling me to keep smiling. I am sick of that phrase. Go back to your post and get your orders out (especially mine).

And Diana, may I add that your presence here on this forum peddling your lanterns, and badmouthing your ex-partner is not very becoming and certainly not professional. You're welcomed to post as your private, concerned about Y2K self though...

Smiling is important. It draws energy into the body. Diana, many times ppl have needed to vent, it's OK. You are under a lot of pressure. We for two are glad you post -- we're planning on ordering a Petromax :) It is wonderful to see a business owner selling vital survival tools posting and updating customers on this Forum. If somebody doesn't like it, he/she can simply skip the threads which don't interest them. Keep smiling, Diana ;-)

Life without smiles, laughter, compassion, and tolerance is not worth living.

I'm in favor of this sort of blunt talk. The business rivals are perfectly free to present theor iwon case. Most business people these days are afraid to say anything even remotely rude, even when circumstances justify it. Pattycaking all these merchandising types is a part of this society I could do without.

I'm one of those who ordered a Petromax. I just thought that the last thing this forum needs is businesses overtaking this forum, on top of the trolls who already have a good part of it.

I'm not trying to censor any private talk. Oh well.

But Diana is part of the prep family and her business is helping us. I like seeing her updates. These days, you order stuff and never have a clue as to when or if it will get shipped. By the time you find out it's not available, it's 2 months later and all the harder to find an alternative. At least she has the courtesy of keeping us informed, plus she answers product questions with expert advice not just guesses. And she clearly labels the post so that those not interested can skip them. I suppose it could get rather crowded in here if every business started posting or if they got into a back and forth, but so far, the only ones I question are the ones who post in with the "I hear this product is great" type endorsements that are thinly veiled advertisements.

Dave, lighten up! The only way your going to get through this thing is with a GOOD ATTITUDE and that includes smiling.
