Pentax LX- 120-600 mm Vivitar Zoom lens- Handheld- Fuji Velvia- No exact exposure was recorded, most exposures approximated 1/250 sec. @ f-16. The image was sharpened in Photoshop 4.

Bill: Thanks for the compliment. It was pure luck a few years ago. Not only the clouds were there, if I remember correctly it also happened on or around my lunch break about 11:30 local time. I took about two rolls, one color and the other B&W. Not all of them turned out as nice as this one.

The grainy texture of the clouds next to the solid inverted crescent of the sun and the black surrounding sky make for a very nice composition. Excellent!
