Where can I buy or how can I get an ISO 12233 digital resolution test chart?

A couple of places. PIMA sells a small version (20x40cm active area) for $200 each. Sine Patterns LLC in upstate New York has large sizes, up to 80x160cm, for I think $800 for the largest size. (If you're testing Point & Shoot digicams, you need the large size to be able to get far enough away with the fixed-focus, wide-angle lens models.) Sine Patterns' phone number is: 716-385-1110. Sine Patterns' stuff is made on a tough Mylar substrate that resists tearing. They made their targets from tooling (film) we created, based on the actual 12233 spec. We've intended to post something advertising targets for sale, but it seems to be one of those things we never get around to. We'll sell you a small target for $150, a 40x80 cm one for $250, and a economy-sized 80x160 one for $450. (Shipping is extra, but nominal...) These are printed on standard "PMT" photo paper, so you'll definitely want to mount them to 1/2" Gatorboard, or equivalent. (Actually, you'd want to mount the Sine Patterns ones too, despite their toughness, to hold them flat and prevent creases.)

Sorry for the slow response, still digging out from PMA! If interested, email us at web@imaging-resource.com.
