Went and looked around at the local television station's web sites, and found this channel 6 story. It was the usual crap, but when I looked at the links to other sites they provided, to my total amazement, they have a link to Gary North. And the funny thing is, this particular station advertises that they will not sensationalize news like the rest of the media here does. I'd like to be a mouse in the corner and watch the reaction as people followed the link from this "don't worry, be happy" kind of story, to Gary's page...lol.

I guess the only word that comes to mind for this station is BOZO. Check out this quote from the story...

Florida Power & Light has a Website up explaining that they are 80 percent along the way in its Y2K project. They have to go through billions of computer chips to make sure they understand what the date is at the turn of the millennium, so that the systems keep working and power keeps flowing to you.

That's right! My power company has to go through BILLIONS of chips!
