Contax 167MT vs Aria

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread

Please advise if there is any significant difference between old Contax 167MT and new Aria. I've read a lot of technical info but would like to know user's comments.

Thanks in advance.

Andrei.

Andrei, I suggest you visit Tim Rogers' website and read his interesting, informative, and knowledgeable Contax reviews. It's at www.pagedepot.com/TimRogersPhoto/.

P.S. Andrei, the 167MT is just about the oldest camera in the Contax lineup; it's quite long in the tooth and will probably be discontinued soon. The Aria is the newest Contax 35 SLR. It's compact, light, and has a lot of features for its relatively modest, entry-level (for Contax) price. I don't own either (I'm using an RX and an RTSIII), but if I were choosing between these two it would be a slam dunk for the Aria.
