Ice Under Glass

Somehow the lake water forms layers of ice near the edge. The white frosted rocks where then covered with crystal clear ice.

Your image shows that the subject has potential, but it needs something extra special to make this somewhat amorphous white more interesting. I'm not sure what, maybe different lighting, a break in the ice, a reflection...???

Mike: I love the image. I should have commented earlier. I like the simplicity of color (lack of?)and composition. It also looks peaceful to me. A little touch of yellow gives me the feel for the early morning or late afternoon sun. I really enjoyed this image. Thanks. Bahman

Crop off the left quarter. I think that the abstract works a lot better that way.
