Contract for B

Deb Bernston and I are continuing to work through the Resource Management Standard with my third graders. Task 1 involved teaching students how to access information by using the computer catalog system, the internet, and encyclopedia on CD Rom. Task 2 requires students to conduct research and use word processing to create a document. Students need to design and create a document for specific audience and purpose. Our plan for this contract would be to integrate Resource Management Task 2 with Write and Speak Task 4. The Write and Speak Task asks the students to write a report to describe and give information about a person, an object, or a situation. The checklist involves gathering the information from a variety of sources.

Contract for A

Over the last few years of classroom teaching, I have been experimenting with the use of individually designed learning checklists. Many of my students have always been capable of more challenging work, so I designed a format that enhances some basic areas of learning. My goal is to have students working at a learning level that is comfortable, yet still move them forward. I want this learning option to fill the gap between I m done! Now, what do I do?and the extra time other students may need to finish. It is designed to teach responsibility, organization skills, and build self-confidence. I want to use this project for my contract as it is still in the development stage. It is the type of project that will always be changing to fit the needs of my students, but I hope to create a more detailed outline that could be easily ada
