Problems using Toast for CD burnig

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Kurzweil Users : One Thread

I've just finished to burn out a stack of CD,trying to move my own library from a Jaz to a more safe support. What a bore!Someone tell me (from the Kurzweil@aol.com ) :transfer your K's file from the Jaz to another support DOS formatted, preferibly with Formatter 5 (done!),open Toast and make a Disk image of this DOS support (How F#*#*#* I can do this?) and then you can burn your CD! Ok:I've done exactly point one (K's file >DOS support),I've used F5,but only the first time the K2500 has recognized the Jaz as a nice support, all the other times she said "problem mounting...". But most important:every time I've tried to move the Jaz icon on the Toast "disc image" main menu...it changes to "Mac files & folders"...and if I try to: open the Jaz window, select ALL the files and drag all of them on the Toast menu it load all the files, one at a time, trashing all the file ahead, remaining only the last file of the pile in the "data" information window...I'm tired of Windows fan that can coping and burning all the CD they want, without worry if is a DOS, KRZ, AKAY,WAV. or what hell... I really need to move my library to CD,before those stupid Jaz expire once and for all. Thanks...Ugo From Italy ugolauren@tin.
