Ulster & Delaware RR Historical Society is interested in anything we can find on these narrow-gauge predecessors of the U&D beyond what's published in Best and Helmer.

My sister came across six photos circa 1890 of the Catskill railway which includes the "COG House," a view of the incline from a distance, view of the incline while standing on the rail itself, the "Narrow Guage" under construction and two very interesting photos of Engine number 4's crash. I've been searching for a few days, trying to get more information. Finding your request for information, I'm hoping you might be able to help. Thanks in advance, Rikke Elkins 301-290-1464/ 1-800-809-2325 x23 (both are home numbers)
