Now that Nikon's 900s has been eliminated what other digital camera can you recommend that would be equivalent and allow b&w photos. I think I like the Olympus 400z picture quality but I don't think it has b&w capability. Thanks. bw

Use your imaging editor to convert the image into b&w. Far simpler and you get whatever you want out of your image. You will probably be happier with the results since you have more control over the brightness and contrast in your image. (which is everything) photography). Although I do not use a digital camera, I do use colour film and convert it to B&W when I edit the scanned image.
