poodle heart disease

Hi. My name is Lori. My nine year old apricot standard poodle, Maxie, was just diagnosed with mitral regurgitation, atrial fibrillation, and dilated cardiomyopathy. He is completely asympomatic and was diagnosed incidently with this life threatening condition. He was started on medications (vasotec, digoxin, and lasix), and amino acids (Taurine, Coenzyme Q10, and L-Carnitine). Does anyone else have experience with this condition? With successful treatment? Does anyone know of any other treatment? Do you know about survival times? How can I best help Maxie? Please send any info or advice. Thank you. Lori
