I just purchased an Epson PhotoPC700. It works fine connected to the Epson 700 Printer, but I am having trouble connecting to the computer. I have tried all the comp ports. I have an omega and a fax., would that matter?

Don't know what an omega is, but if it's plugged into a serial port, it definitely could affect things. - See if you can see what Com port your fax and the omega thingie are looking to, based on their own software settings, that could give you a clue. Also, (really hitting the limits of my PC knowledge here), I've been told that COM 1 and 3 and COM 2 and 4 are actually somehow the same, maybe they share interrupts. Thus, something on COM1 can tie up COM3, etc, even though they should be completely separate... Hope this helps, good luck!
