Answers

Although this is similar to some of your red series close-ups that show just one pedal, for instance, I can relate to this better because it has a little more detail. The "Y" shapes formed by the stems and the little bit of contrast formed by the small outer pedals of the main flower. Very nice image.

I like this better than the more minimalist examples you have submitted. More relationships to think about here; blues balanced by greens, backlight, translucent petals, negative space versus positive, etc. In a nutshell, it holds my interest longer and I enjoy coming back to it.

Bahman, Meant to comment on this earlier when I first saw it. I love it! Your series of shots like this has opened my eyes to a very different and creative way of seeing. Thanks for the inspiration! I love the soft shades of blue in this and the amorphous shapes of the petals contrasted with the strong lines of the stems.
