Miracle?

Dear Pope John Paul II; Dear Pope, I am a Miracle. The University where I was in the medical intensive care unit during the time I was in a coma, operated on my lungs seven times I think and the last time my lungs ruptured, the doctors told my family that I would die on the operating table or off and they didn't want to put me through anymore. My family requested that I be taked off the respirator to die for I am of deep faith and my family trusted me to God's care. Much to the surprise of the doctors and my family, God spared my life. He healed the slit in my lungs and I have been alive following this event since it happened in 1992. I have 60% partical use of my lungs and 40% total use of my lungs. I was annointed two times after I went home, at my request, because I was told I would have to be on oxygen 24 hours a day for the rest of my life. I now use oxygen when I exercise and when I sleep, for I have sleep apnea. I believe with all my heart that Jesus healed me and continues to heal me. I was a social worker, now I am permantly disabled. Many, many miracles have happened to me during my lifetime, so unbelievable, but true. The reason that I am writing you is because I was told that you can sign and give a certificate saying someone is a miracle. My father is 80 years old and lost my younger brother, my mother and my stepmother to death. My true wish is that if you can award such a certificate, that I be given one. The doctors where I was hospitalized has done millions of dollars of care to keep me alive and my records are well over seven feet tall. I am sure my pulmonary doctor will supply any information needed, if you do award miracle certificates. I want to have such a certificate to remind me how blessed I have/am, but more importantly, I wish with all my heart to give my daddy, a Christian man, who taught me to put my life and cares in God's hands, a copy of the certificate for his eighty-first birthday in June. Thank-you for an e-mail address and for taking the time to read this letter. You are a wonderful, and kind Pope. Please, send me a reply or any imformation you can addressed to Patsy as this email address:hamilton@cfw.com ,may the Lord continue to bless you as you spread the message of hope to a very needy world. I anxiously await your reply. Thank-you with all my heart. Sincerely, Julia (Patsy) Humphrey Hamilton

Dear Julia,

Praise be Jesus Christ ! He is truly the Author and Physician of all Life. All is possible with the Lord, and your story warms my heart and strenghtens my faith. Please do not look to a certificate to please your daddy, YOU are a gift to him beyond compare. Your gift to him is your life and your love, give it in abundance! Remember that Jesus said that His coming will be like that of a Good Thief - you do not know the time and place - SO use each minute of your life and your father's life to the FULLEST! These minutes are God's gift to you.

Rest assured that the Holy Father prays for you AND your father. He is the Pastor of all Christians. Maybe, you could purchase John Paul's book, "Crossing the Threshold of Hope" and give it as a gift to your Father. Pope John Paul explains in detail his Universal ministry and explains how he prays daily for all peoples and all nations. Maybe your daddy would like this to reflect upon, and think of you each time he reads it!

May God bless you and keep you!

In Charity,
